Meet The Coaches

Coach

Bianca started her rowing career in middle school and she fell in love. Bianca attended Edgewater High School and won States her freshman year. Bianca became a Lake Brantley rowing coach in 2018. The kids think she's super cool, awesome and funny!

Head Coach / Boathouse Director

Antonio is a graduate of Lake Brantley High School and a LBRA Alumni; member of the 2011 Men's Scholastic State Championship team.  Antonio has held various roles at Lyman including help start the Lyman's middle school team and helped it grow to over 40 members.  He also served as Novice Men's and Women's Coach and most recently the Varsity Women's Coach and Head Coach.  He joined LBRA in the 2019-2020 season as a Women's Coach and has transitioned to our Head Coach and Boat House Director!

Mitchell Ott will be joining LBRA for the 2020-2021 season as a Men’s Coach. Mitch is a recent graduate of Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he studied Business Management and Accounting. During his time with the  men’s lightweight team, Mitch was a two-time captain and grand-finalist at the 2019 IRA National Championships. Mitch is committed to growing LBRA and offer his experience and passion for the sport to the program.

Assistant Coach

Stephen Taussig is a LBHS alumni and currently holds the  boathouse Erg record in the 2,000 meter piece and 6,000 meter piece. As previous team captain, he achieved 4 district medals and had the fastest erg time in Florida.  During the Southern Erg Sprints in the Men’s Heavy Weight category, Stephen brought home a 3rd place medal only to best his time later that week. Last year Stephen coached the Middle School Team. He is very excited to bring his passion and enthusiasm for rowing to the Lake brantley rowers.
