Of everything one could occupy time with while in high school, becoming a member of Lake Brantley’s rowing team is one that will get you in great physical shape, give you academic support, allow you to compete at the State and National levels, and develop your character unlike any other sport. Colleges love high school athletes – especially rowers – because they know the value of hard work, dedication and teamwork.

LBRA is an officially recognized club at Lake Brantley High School and competes in regattas throughout Orlando and the state of Florida.

Middle School Fall Season

 Practice Schedule:

Monday 5:30-7:00pm

Wednesday 4:30-7:00pm

Saturday 9:00-11:00am

Lake Brantley Rowing Association provides middle school students the opportunity to learn to row at a developmental and competitive level. The middle school program is open to all students in grades 4-8 attending any public or private school in Central Florida. There are several regattas throughout the year that feature middle school events, and a few that are strictly middle school regattas.

Practices include teaching the proper rowing technique on rowing machines and on the water, as well as basic conditioning and cardio training. Rowers attire should include: running shoes, socks, t-shirt, exercise shorts, and a refillable water bottle.
