MIDDLE SCHOOL CREW

Lake Brantley Rowing Association provides middle school students the opportunity to learn to row at a developmental and competitive level. The middle school program is open to all students in grades 6-8 attending any public or private school in Central Florida. Our middle school program works extremely closely with the high school program, as they share the same facilities and equipment throughout the year. There are several regattas throughout the year that feature middle school events, and a few that are strictly middle school regattas.

Practices include teaching the proper rowing technique on rowing machines and on the water, as well as basic conditioning and cardio training. Rowers attire should include: running shoes, socks, t-shirt, exercise shorts, and a refillable water bottle.
