Head Coach / Boathouse Director
Andrew Rouse is the Head Coach/Boathouse Director for Lake Brantley Rowing Association. Andrew began his rowing career at Lyman High School in 2009, where he rowed for four years before being recruited to row at Stetson University.
Andrew graduated from Stetson University in the spring of 2017 with a degree in Public Management. During his time at Stetson, he competed on the varsity men’s rowing team for four years, while serving as captain his senior year. Andrew was a part of growing the program from two athletes racing a pair, to over twenty athletes producing competitive results in the varsity eight event.
In addition to his rowing career at Stetson, Andrew has also rowed competitively for Potomac Boat Club in Washington DC and Vesper Boat Club in Philadelphia, winning multiple events at USRowing’s Club National Championships and additionally a gold medal at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta. Additionally, Andrew has also competed at national team trial events and has served as a member of the Oklahoma City National High Performance Center, a designated USOC Training Site.
Andrew has most recently served as the Head Freshmen/Novice Coach at Purdue University. During his time spent at Purdue, Andrew’s crews rowed to win various medals at major regattas across the Midwest.
